Hi there, I’m Djamila.
Running keeps my head on straight and my body full of life. I love to run 10 minutes or 10 hours and anything in between.
From the first step, I knew trail - and endurance running was for me. Back then, I was 12 years old and all I wanted was to keep roaming through the forest for hours on end.
To run sustainably and healthy has been my quest ever since. Beyond running, this includes strength, refined nutrition, excellent recovery and a mindful relationship with the body. This holistic approach is incorporated in my training and coaching.
I’m a Swiss Athletics certified running coach, and I expand my education regularly. I’m a sponge for all things running, exercise, nutrition and mindfulness. Don’t get me started, unless we’re on a long run! :)

„Djamila accompanied me for my first half marathon as a running coach. She created detailed training plans and was there to support me along the way. Through her profound knowledge and her easy-going manner, I felt very well taken care of and my goal kept becoming easier to achieve.”
Marie
"Djamila motivated me at the right time, helped me to slow down when necessary, and gave me encouraging and helpful feedback. In the end, I ran light-footed to the finish line and had a wonderful experience with my first half-marathon."
Joanne
„I really enjoyed the training with Djamila. Even as a beginner, I felt very understood - that was great! She gave me a lot of valuable feedback during the training and the training plan is easy to follow. I now know what I need to do to make progress and I can well imagine coming back to Djamila in the future. “

-
I schedule a free consultation with every new client, to determine how we can best work together. After this, you decide if you want to book a coaching with me.
-
Yes, of course! Let’s run for the sake of running, not only for results - whether you are training for a race or not.
-
This depends on your goals, how fit you are and the time you have available to run. Anywhere from 2-3 days per week, up to 6 training days for advanced runners. If you do other sports regularly, I’ll leave room for those in your schedule.
-
Yes. I believe strength training is an important part of a sustainable long-term training approach. However, if and what kind of strength training makes sense in your case, will be determined in our call.
-
This depends on several factors, most importantly on your current level of fitness and your goal distance. Generally, I recommend 16 to 20 weeks. Let’s chat for recommendations specific to you.
-
If you get sick, I will adjust the schedule to include reduced training or total rest. If you are completely out for more than 2 weeks, you may pause your coaching subscription until you are ready to run again. If you need to see a physio, I’m happy to accommodate their recommendations in your training.
-
You may cancel / reschedule a coaching sessions and workshop up to 24 hours prior for a full refund. After this, 50% will be charged.
You may cancel 6-week coachings within the first week and receive a full refund.
You may cancel your coaching subscription until the 20th day of each month for the following month.
